About Driftwood Lodge

Driftwood Lodge is a single-storey wooden lodge sitting in the peaceful Little Haven Retreat in Pembrokeshire. This spacious 3-bedroom pad sleeps 6 and comes with its own private hot tub for those evenings when you fancy a warm, bubbly soak with a cold drink. Perfect for families or friends who want to escape the daily grind without roughing it.

Located just 2.8 miles from Broad Haven, you're perfectly positioned to explore Pembrokeshire's stunning coastline. Broad Haven Beach is dog-friendly year-round, so your four-legged friend can run wild while you take in the sea air. The site itself is quiet and well-maintained with open spaces for kids to play and a small dog exercise area (though some guests wish it was bigger - size matters, apparently).

The accommodation features an open-plan living area with a smart TV and electric fire for cosy nights in. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a gas oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and even a Nespresso machine for your morning caffeine fix. There's a master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite, plus two twin rooms and a family bathroom with bath and shower.

Nearby attractions include Manor Park Zoo (15 minutes), Merlin's Magic indoor play area (20 minutes) and Haverfordwest's shops (15 minutes). The Ocean Restaurant in Broad Haven serves what guests call "the best fish and chips" in the area. Bring your own food supplies though - the remote location means shops aren't on your doorstep.

Driftwood Lodge offers that rare combination of comfort and escape. Off-road parking for two cars means easy access and the decking area is perfect for outdoor dining. Just remember to bring a dog gate if your pooch is prone to wandering!

Driftwood Lodge Reviews

Eloise
A beautiful properly in a stunning location. A short drive to broad haven beach which allows dogs all year round. The lodge was squeaky clean, had comfy beds and the hot tub was an amazing bonus! The staff checked it regularly too but never disturbed us. Would highly recommend. We were planning an adventurous holiday but felt so comfortable in the lodge that we decided to just relax and enjoy our surroundings. We will be back!
Gwyneth
Lovely lodge clean and tidy comfortable one let down there was no gate on the decking so wasnt secure for the dog
The property is lovely and really nice. Before arriving we had a damage and cleaning information pack with a hot tub disclaimer. The information pack was a little worrying as the cost of cleaning charges for pet hair and I had 2 with me. When we got to the property it was simple instruction from the email to access the property but no greeting on arrival. When we were putting food away in the freezer there was a smashed bottle which had not been cleaned up, there were a pack of Pringles on the cabinet that were out of date from July and also a plastic bottle left under the one sofa, this I was disappointed with due to the emails received about the cleaning charges. The hot tub we read through and said its cleaned every time someone leave and will be switched on and heated up ready. On the first night we never bothered with the hot tub due to the rain and darkness. We then went to look around 1000 on the second day and the hot tub was cold and nothing would work it was saying pool too warm. I kept checking this by the hour and the water was cold with no change. I went to reception which was not open, I range the contact number provided on email and booklet in the love and no answer I also emailed the admin team and again no answer. I was unable to use the hot tub all weekend and this I am unhappy about as you pay extra to have a hot tub and we were unable to use. On the day of leaving the request to strip the beds and bag the sheets and towels ready for cleaners to collect was done before leaving. The hot tub had started to heat up but this was the day we were leaving. I feel we could have had more assistance to get this hot tub working and the general cleanliness wasnt to the standard of what it seems before you attend due to the items we found, but the email makes you slightly worry before attending and taking your dogs as chargers and explained for different cleaning.

Had a lovely 4 days in Driftwood Lodge it was spotlessly clean, well equipped , plenty of room for 6 people ,excellent master bedroom with ensuit, all enjoyed the hot tub towells supplied and the children made use of the park and plenty of space to play football. Weather was mixed but managed to visit Broad Haven beach, Manor Park zoo and merlin's magic indoor soft play , plenty of shopping outlets and supermarkets in Haverfordwest. Eat lunch out every day plenty of choice in area but we all agreed the fish and chips in ocean restaurant Broad Haven was the best. We would definitely recommend little haven retreat and hope to return in the future.
Robert
Superb lodge, well decorated, very well furnished, great location and well kept quiet site. Don't turn up without your food as there is nothing much for quite a distance! But that's the whole point quiet!
Fantastic lodge in a great location for visiting Pembrokeshire

We had a wonderful time lodge was beautiful and we loved the hot tub only down ... We had a wonderful time lodge was beautiful and we loved the hot tub only down side was no gate on the patio so the dog kept going down the steps and there wasn't a large field for him to have arun and play with his ball the dog area was very small
Rachel
An amazing property, beautiful campsite. Will be returning, thank you for the best holiday!!!!!
Stephanie
Absolutely beautiful lodge, with lots of thought and detail! The views are stunning. We had a fantastic time!
We stayed in the driftwood lodge with our two dogs. The lodge was everything and more than we expected. The pictures advertised were exactly what you get. The location is perfect and a get spot to get to all beaches and towns. The only feedback is a dog gate on the lodge would be a benefit as we used our puppy gate which we brought with us. We are looking at coming back next year.
